What is the International Hanseatic Day and what are the special features of its 38th edition in 800-year-old Rostock? One-off major events raise specific questions that need to be dealt with in a journalistic way, both digitally and analogously. The HansetagsJournal 2018, published by the Hanse Sail office at the beginning of May, is intended to answer these questions and at the same time make you want to visit the international event from 21 to 24 June as the highlight of the 800th city anniversary. More than 30 authors, photographers and graphic artists in the 96-page journal in four chapters arc from the Hanseatic era to today.
All the contents of the journal are summarised and translated into English, all together with an English version of the programme. Therefore this publication is also interesting for non-German readers.
The HansetagsJournal 2018 is available at a price of 4.00 euros in the Hanse Sail office, in the tourist information offices in Rostock and Warnemünde, in well-stocked magazine- and bookstores and of course at the information stands of the Hanseatic Day from 21 to 24 June 2018.
