City Paddling Rostock offers two-hour guided kayak tours on the Unterwarnow, from Petrieviertel to the city harbor. The participants do not need to have any experiences with paddling. The desire for water and exercise should of course be present!
Before each departure there is an introduction to paddling and safety. Each tour will be accompanied by paddle guides (max 15 persons per guide), who are both city guides and trained lifeguards. Each guest will receive a lifejacket (compulsory) and a canoe spray deck to protect you from water. On tour everyone paddles for themselves.
There will be stops at prominent places, where all participants get together and learn interesting facts about Rostock. We talk about what we see and walk through time historically. During the Hanseatic day, we will focus more on the Hanseatic era, as there will be cogs in the city harbor as tangible history.
