Hanse Trading – Landing of goods by the Hanseatic ships

As part of the programme of the Hanseatic Day, Rostock uses its city harbour for the transport and clearance of goods from other Hanseatic towns – which is very similar to the trading during the Hanseatic period. From medieval ships from Kampen, Lübeck, Wismar and Estonia beer, salt, coffee and honey will be loaded on a handcart; all with the help of the historical wooden crane. A symbolic cargo rate of 800 euros per 38 kg of transported goods supports the historic ships. The project Hanse Trading is supported by the main partner of the Hanseatic Day ROSTOCK PORT.
